WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER a SCAR CAMOUFLAGE treatment
Expect redness and slight itching during the healing process, followed by darkening of the area - this is normal. The final result will be visible after 4-8 weeks depending on individual healing speed.
If you experience discomfort, you may take paracetamol - but avoid ibuprofen to prevent complications.
Day 1 - 2
Wash the area with antiseptic soap if possible
Pat dry the area
Apply the aftercare balm morning at night, as needed
Wear clean, loose clothing to protect the treated area
Ensure you have clean bed sheets to avoid any unnecessary bacteria during the night
Day 3 - 7
Apply the aftercare balm every 4 to 6 hours to stimulate healing
Avoid scratching; apply more aftercare balm if itchy
Do not remove scabs; allow them to naturally fall off
DO NOT (For first 10 days)
Take baths (swimming pool, beach, bathtub, spa)
Use saunas
Engage in excessive sweating
Expose the treated skin to excessive heat, suffocation, or friction/rubbing
Wear tight clothing such as jeggings or tight jeans
