WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER a SCAR CAMOUFLAGE treatment

Expect redness and slight itching during the healing process, followed by darkening of the area - this is normal. The final result will be visible after 4-8 weeks depending on individual healing speed.
If you experience discomfort, you may take paracetamol - but avoid ibuprofen to prevent complications.

Day 1 - 2

  • Wash the area with antiseptic soap if possible

  • Pat dry the area

  • Apply the aftercare balm morning at night, as needed

  • Wear clean, loose clothing to protect the treated area

  • Ensure you have clean bed sheets to avoid any unnecessary bacteria during the night

Day 3 - 7

  • Apply the aftercare balm every 4 to 6 hours to stimulate healing

  • Avoid scratching; apply more aftercare balm if itchy

  • Do not remove scabs; allow them to naturally fall off

DO NOT (For first 10 days)

  • Take baths (swimming pool, beach, bathtub, spa)

  • Use saunas

  • Engage in excessive sweating

  • Expose the treated skin to excessive heat, suffocation, or friction/rubbing

  • Wear tight clothing such as jeggings or tight jeans
